Continue your exploration to the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary in Ubud, where playful long-tailed macaques roam freely around ancient temple ruins and lush forest paths. Your first destination is the Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, often called the Lake Temple because it appears to float gracefully on the calm waters of Lake Beratan. Dedicated to Dewi Danu, the goddess of lakes and rivers, this 17th-century temple is surrounded by misty mountains, colorful gardens, and mirror-like reflections in the water. The unique lakeside setting not only makes it one of the most photographed temples in Bali but also a spiritual site where locals come to honor the vital role of water in their daily lives.

From here, continue to the Jatiluwih Rice Terraces, a UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its spectacular landscapes and ancient subak irrigation system that has sustained Balinese agriculture for centuries. Continue your journey to the southern tip of the island to visit the legendary Uluwatu Temple, perched dramatically on a steep cliff 70 meters above the Indian Ocean. As the sun begins to set, witness the famous Kecak Fire Dance, where dozens of chanting men create a rhythmic chorus that sets the stage for an epic retelling of the Ramayana. The golden light of sunset adds magic to the performance and the temple’s surroundings.
